Frequent Flyer Miles

If you travel a lot, you should be collecting those frequent flyer miles. Those miles could earn you some free travel time to any destination you’ve been longing to go. Now, they won’t help you with paying for room and board, or buying meals, but any little discount can help when it comes to saving money on travel, for business or vacation.

Start Crowdfunding

Crowdfunding is the big thing these days, and people are using it to make money to do everything from pay their medical bills to start their own businesses. You can use it to fund your trip, even if it’s simply a personal vacation.

Make sure that you explain what your vacation or trip is all about, and even make a video explaining why you want help funding this expedition. People like to see who they’re donating to and know that it’s for a good cause.

Have A Bake/Yard Sale

If you’re not a very internet savvy person, or you live in a great community with lots of giving people, you can always plan a bake sale or a yard sale to earn funds. if your trip is for volunteer or missionary work you may even be able to get help from a local church, like space for your sale and donations towards items to sell.
